Alexandre Oliveira is the course director for the Post-MBA in Digital Supply Chain since 2018 and the author of the Introduction to the Digital Supply Chain online course at Udemy Platform - with students from +40 countries. Since 2001 Alexandre has actively influenced logistics thinking about several supply chain organizations. He chaired the Logistics Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce, chaired the Supply Chain Committee at the British Chamber of Commerce and he was Regional Vice-President of the Brazilian Logistics Association.

Alexandre has five books published by Pearson Financial Times Press (USA): Customer Service Supply Chain Management; Supply Chain: Modeling Best-in-Class Processes and Performance Indicators; Managing Supply Chain Networks; Supply Chain Management Strategy; A Guide to Supply Chain Management. Alex also published The Illustrated Book of Business Strategies for Digital Transformation (KDP) and co-authored the book Crisis Management: A Leadership Perspective (NSP).

Alexandre holds Post-graduate Diploma in Digital Business (jointly offered by MIT Sloan Management and Columbia University with triple distinction (top 10%). He is a PhD candidate on the impact of AI on the supply chain at Unicamp, where he is guest lecturer in the course "Data Science for Managers ". Certified Blockchain Expert (Blockchain Council, Canada) and Certified Board Member (CCI, IBGC). He also holds an MBA in Finance, an MSc in Supply Chain Management (Cranfield University, UK) and a BA in Chemical Engineering.

Alexandre began his career in the industry where he acquired experience in manufacturing, quality assurance and logistics in Procter & Gamble in Brazil and Europe. Over the last 20 years, he has developed his career as a consultant, advisor and coach in companies such as 3M, Adidas, Avon, Bayer, Cargill, Eaton, GE, John Deere, Monsanto, Motorola, PepsiCo, Pernod Ricard, Sony, Syngenta, Unilever, Walmart and many others.
